1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Cali Ape, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

You must accept these Terms before creating an account or signing in. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cali Ape is a map-based platform for discovering and contributing information about public fitness locations, including:

• Location discovery
• User-generated submissions (spots, photos, equipment)
• Check-ins and interactions

The service includes community-driven content and moderation.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activity under your account
• Providing accurate information

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit content such as:

• Locations
• Photos
• Equipment updates
• Check-ins

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and make necessary technical modifications (such as cropping, compression, or adding location names and contributor attribution) to the content, within the following scope:

• The Cali Ape app
• The official website caliape.app
• Our official social media accounts (used to introduce the Service or specific locations)
• Materials produced to promote the Service (e.g., screenshots, promotional videos)

This license does not include using your content for third-party advertising, selling it to third parties, or using it for purposes unrelated to Cali Ape.

You understand and agree that:

• Content published on caliape.app may be indexed by search engines (e.g., Google, Bing) and appear in search results
• Third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Threads, Line, Telegram, Twitter) that fetch our pages when a link is shared may display previews of your content
• The license terminates when you delete the content or your account; we will remove it from the official website within a reasonable time (typically within 24 hours), but copies already cached by third-party crawlers or social platforms cannot be immediately purged at our request

You are responsible for ensuring your content:

• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Does not violate laws or third-party rights
• If it contains identifiable individuals, you have obtained their consent to publicly display

5. Prohibited Content and Behavior

You must not use the App to post, upload, or share any content that includes:

Abusive / Harmful Content

• Hate speech or discrimination
• Threats or violence
• Content intended to harm others

Harassment

• Bullying or targeting individuals
• Repeated unwanted interactions
• Personal attacks

Sexual or Explicit Content

• Pornographic or sexually explicit material
• Inappropriate content involving minors

Illegal Content

• Illegal activities or instructions
• Unauthorized use of private property
• Any content violating applicable laws

Other Violations

• Spam or misleading content
• Impersonation
• Malicious or fraudulent behavior

6. Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Review, remove, or restrict any content
• Reject or delete submissions
• Suspend or terminate accounts

Moderation decisions are made at our discretion to maintain platform safety and data quality.

7. Content Accuracy Disclaimer

Content in the App is community-contributed and may not always be accurate or up-to-date.

We do not guarantee:

• Availability of locations
• Accuracy of equipment information
• Safety of any location

Use the information at your own risk.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Engage in harmful behavior
• Abuse the platform

You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability
